Facebook won another battle in the fight against spam. Today, a San Jose, Calif. court awarded Facebook $711 million in damages against Sanford Wallace, a spammer who accessed people’s accounts without permission and sent phony Wall posts and messages. He was also referred for prosecution for criminal contempt.
